These girl bosses are notable because they aren’t like many artists whose music goes viral but sucks terribly when played in full. Bobbi, whose Detroit born, and Folayan, whose Dallas raised, met at a music college in Los Angeles; some of their musical influences are Diana Ross (who inspired their group name), Missy Elliot, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Motown, R&B and soul music. It’s truly a breath of fresh air to watch the new generation of music makers and vibe influencers have inspiration and admiration from past music legends who laid the groundwork for them to create on higher frequencies. As Flyana Boss continue to take the music industry by storm, they have recently been added to Janelle Monae’s “Age of Pleasure Tour.”
